She is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists (SCS) and currently sits on the SCS Council as Honorary Secretary.

Alf (John) Webster

AJF (John) Webster, MA Vet, MB, PhD, MRCVS

John is Professor Emeritus at the University of Bristol, where he established a unit for the study of animal behaviour and welfare. A founder member of the Farm Animal Welfare Council, John first propounded the Five Freedoms, which define the elements of good welfare in domestic animals. He has written several books on animal welfare.
