Who can enter the Good Business Awards?
Any business operating in the UK can enter the RSPCA Good Business Awards, providing it falls into one or more of the following categories:

| Designers | Businesses that contract in catering services |
| Manufacturers | Event catering |
| New businesses | Pubs |
| Retailers | Restaurants – chains and independent |
| Retailers – butchers, farm shops, delicatessens | |
| Supermarkets |
Winners from 2009 include George at Asda, Marks & Spencer and Neon Collective in the Fashion category. In the Food category, an exciting array of winners from restaurants and pubs include The Feathers, Northumberland; The Duke of Cambridge, Islington and Restaurant Alimentum in Cambridge. In retailing, business awards recognised Edge & Son - a family butchers in Cheshire - and Sainsbury's and The Co-operative when the public were able to vote for their favourite supermarket for the first time.

The Judges said: "The Feather's Inn is thrifty, innovative and embedded in the local farm community with great local sourcing and educational value…"
